Who doesn’t love a good three ingredient recipe?! Our 3 Ingredient Pumpkin Butter is so simple to make, you’d never guess it has only three ingredients!
If you are looking for a fun way to make neighbor gifts with your children, this recipe is the answer! Homemade Pumpkin Butter makes such a cute fall gift. Spoon some of it into a mason jar, add a lid, a cute ribbon and you’ve got a treat that is ready to go in minutes. It can be stored in the fridge for 7-10 days, so I like to package it in small jars to avoid spoiling!
All you need to make 3 ingredient pumpkin butter is a can of pumpkin puree (I like Libby’s brand best), sugar, and a little bit of pumpkin pie spice. Now that it’s fall you probably already have a can of pumpkin and pumpkin spice in your pantry. So there’s no excuse not to make this delicious pumpkin spread.
Mix all of the ingredients in a saucepan over the stove on medium heat. Stir and cook until the sugar dissolves. Keep it chilled before serving and enjoy with all of your favorite breads, breakfast foods, etc! This also makes a really tasty dip for apples. So many possibilities with this simple recipe!

I love pumpkin butter. Wish I could bottle this but I have read that it's an absolute NO_NO. I can imagine the this was a huge hit at the open house.
