I was beyond excited to share my thoughts (and tasting results) with you when one of the oldest candy makers in the world, Chocolat Frey, approached me to share a few ideas for serving, gifting and accenting your holiday decorations. A few years ago we were given a box of Chocolat Frey premium Swiss chocolates which we absolutely loved! It was one of the first food gifts to disappear on our treat table that year!
Brothers Robert and Max Frey began operation in 1887 in Switzerland. They built Chocolat Frey to be the #1 chocolate brand in the country through making artfully crafted premium chocolates. Chocolat Frey’s dedication to quality ingredients is evident when tasting their product. If you’ve ever traveled to Europe and tasted Swiss chocolate, you know there is a difference, a smoothness that can’t be found in your everyday ordinary candy bar! This chocolate is special.
Chocolat Frey follows a bean-to-bar process using only authentic GMO-free ingredients including rich cocoa beans, whole roasted nuts and milk. The quality of this chocolate is evident when taking a bite. It’s smooth and rich and melts in your mouth. I know it’s not cool to say you love milk chocolate, but I do. And Chocolat Frey milk chocolate is to die for. I have a stash of the Napsli collection of Smooth Milk Chocolate Mini bars in my purse as we speak. For emergencies. You know, when you go out to eat, and want dessert and look at the menu and nothing looks worth ordering. I keep chocolate in my purse at all times for this reason. A Chocolat Frey mini bar is perfect for those times…to be honest, I also have the dark chocolate mini’s in my purse as well. In case I run out of the milk chocolate! Frey Napsli are available nationwide at Sam’s Club!
If you’re looking for a way to set up a simple chocolate dessert station for the holidays, gather up some Chocolat Frey mini bars and truffles from their Aura Collection, place the wrapped pieces in vases, open a box of Chocolat Frey Assorted Pralines, set out some festive napkins, mini tongs and dessert is served! We may or may not have consumed the entire box of Pralines during this photo shoot…
I love the simplicity of a bar of chocolate for a holiday gift! Nothing is easier to wrap than a bar of chocolate. Give me one person who wouldn’t love a package of wrapped chocolate, including Chocolat Frey’s Crunchy Nut Bars made with 25% whole nuts, not just tiny pieces of nuts. The nut and chocolate bars come in milk, dark and blond chocolate with hazelnuts and almonds. Bring all of the nut bars to me, please. Wrapping up Chocolat Frey is a guaranteed win in the foodie gift category!
I love the Chocolat Frey Reindeers to accent holiday tabletops, mantles (remove chocolate from reindeer first before placing above fireplace) and kid tables at special gatherings. The colors are fun and festive and I know two little grand babies who will love these reindeer when they come to visit later this month!
Chocolat Frey products are now available at retailers across the US. You can get your Swiss chocolate fix without leaving the country, although I’m planning a stop in Switzerland next time I’m in Europe to tour their Visitors Center where it’s rumored you can make your own chocolate bar and a dipping fountain is in operation… Yikes! Can you imagine the scent of chocolate in the air?
Hope you will try Chocolat Frey for gift giving, sharing at your holiday party or to accent your decorations this season. All opinions expressed are mine and thank you to Chocolat Frey for sponsoring this post!
