Is there anything better than waking up in the morning to a fresh stack of fluffy pancakes? It’s the best breakfast there is! I have so many family memories that have been made around the table eating pancakes together for breakfast. Pancakes bring people together. Everyone likes pancakes right? They are a classic breakfast food that will always be delicious.
These Buttermilk Pancakes are heavenly. They have just the right amount of sweetness. They are thick, fluffy, and go great with all your favorite pancake toppings. Plop a handful of blueberries on top of the batter before turning, then top with more fresh blueberries and syrup. Blueberry buttermilk pancakes for the win!!
Skip the version of pancakes from a box mix and go with this all-homemade recipe. It’s worth it, I promise! And it will take just a few extra minutes. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and gently mix it all together. Add the buttermilk, a little bit at a time until the batter is all mixed together. Next, make sure you griddle is greased and hot. Then cook the pancakes on each side until lightly browned. You know your pancake is ready to flip when it starts to bubble on top.
Now it’s time for the best part! Gather together your favorite toppings to put on pancakes. Here are some of my favorites:
