Sour Cream Biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons water


  1. Mix together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder in medium bowl. Add sour cream and mix to a soft dough. Add additional water if necessary.
  2. Turn dough out onto floured surface. Pat dough to about one inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter or glass about 3 inches in diameter.
  3. Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 12 minutes.
