Gently squeeze each bag of chips to crush the chips a bit.
With a pair of scissors, cut each bag of chips down the side of the bag and place bags of chips in a basket or tray.
Place chili and each topping in individual bowls and arrange on a table with serving utensils. Serve buffet-style.
We like to add cheese to the bag first, and then the chili. This allows the heat of the chili to melt the cheese. Add additional toppings as desired. Serve with a disposable fork for easy clean up!
Notes
Walking Tacos can be made for a small family, or a large crowd.
If cooking for a smaller group, the remaining chili can be frozen for up to 4 months.
Alternative to bags of chips, use disposable bowls and one large bag of chips.
