Pizza Puffs:

all-purpose flour

baking powder

milk

lightly beaten

shredded mozzarella cheese

pepperoni cut in small pieces

teaspoon
Italian seasoning
Freshly chopped basil to garnish
Homemade Pizza Sauce:
1
cup
tomato sauce
2
tablespoons
tomato paste
2
tablespoons
Italian seasoning
1
tablespoon
dried basil
Dash of hot pepper sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Pizza Puffs:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Whisk in milk and egg.
Stir in mozzarella, pepperoni, and Italian seasoning. Let stand for 10 minutes.
Divide among the mini muffin cups.
Bake until puffed and lightly golden, 15-20 minutes.
Homemade Pizza Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, combine the Homemade Pizza Sauce ingredients and warm on the stovetop just until bubbly. Set aside.
Garnish pizza puffs and sauce with basil. Serve puffs with pizza sauce for dipping.
