Do I need a Punch Bowl?

Punch bowls say “party” anytime they are used! We had fun looking for punch bowls at our local thrift store and scored this one for 3 dollars! It’s a smaller-sized bowl and will be easy to include on any table at our next event.

No punch bowl? You can prep this punch directly in serving glasses. Just scoop a spoonful of slush into individual glasses and top with ice and soda. Add cranberries and sliced grapefruit to garnish.

How to make the best Grapefruit Cranberry Punch

Grapefruit sections: We prefer Del Monte Red Grapefruit sections by far to any canned grapefruit we tried. Del Monte’s grapefruit sections are firm, bright colored, and perfectly tangy. You can find them packaged in a 52-ounce square plastic container in the refrigerator located in the produce section. We also use the juice from the grapefruit in the punch.

Sprite vs 7UP: Although many types of soda can be used, we prefer Sprite to Sprite Zero and 7UP. You may also want to try the drink with your favorite club soda or seltzer water. This will create a more tart punch, so feel free to add sweetener as needed.

Fruit for garnish: Use fresh or frozen cranberries along with thinly sliced grapefruit and oranges for added flavor and garnish. So inviting and colorful!
