With summer’s heat hitting three digits, this recipe is a must! Limeade Slush adds a tangy burst of cool enjoyment to any sweltering day. This zesty, easy-to-make drink tops off any meal with a refreshing citrus twist!
Fiesta Time!
This delicious slushy drink brings back memories of our neighborhood Mexican fiesta. We served Limeade Slush alongside Southwest Salad with Cilantro Honey Lime Dressing, chips and salsa, and chicken taquitos. The icy slush, with its refreshing tang, was a huge hit. We read funny quotes in Spanish, put flowers in our hair, and laughed and talked ‘til the sun went down.
Just Mix, Freeze, and Pour
Limeade Slush is so simple and convenient. Just mix 5 ingredients and freeze. It will be ready when you’re needing to cool down! Just pull the frozen slush block out and let it soften while you cook, swim, or set up for a party. Then scoop the iciness into a cup, mix with soda, and enjoy. The perfect refresher!
Bring on the Heat
Create a summer memory that will make any occasion a fiesta. Keep Limeade Slush in your freezer and be ready to start the party now! This drink will become the one you’ll be asked to bring to every summer get-together. It’s just that good!
More Flavor to Savor with Less Sugar
Want to add more fruity flavor with less sugar? Use diet grapefruit soda instead of lemon-lime soda, or grab some of your favorite fruit and blend with a frozen scoop of Limeade Slush and the soda of your choice.
Running short on time?
Freeze this recipe more quickly by pouring the lime mixture into two or three 9×13-inch pans. If you’re in a pinch to defrost it fast, place the frozen slush on a table outside to speed up the melting process.
